Rossi claims ‘statistical dead heat’ in race for governor

Republican candidate for governor Dino Rossi told 150 Clark County Realtors Thursday that his campaign is on a roll, with legions of new contributors, endorsements from several police unions, and polling that shows his race to unseat Gov. Chris Gregoire is “in a statistical dead heat.” The latest Rasmussen Reports poll, released June 11, found that Gregoire’s lead over Rossi had narrowed to seven points.
